i had my daughters birthday cake done this year at aubreys .. i was so happy that i had found this bakery .. when u walk in it is gorgeous the displays are amazing she is adorable the cookies are to die for .. the look of the cake i can chalk up to miscommunication because it was different my daughter wanted a hello kitty murder scene cake .. as bad as that sounds it was actually kind of humorous .. much discussion was had about this cake and we had other options if she had said she couldnt pull it off .. no no i was assured that aside from being flat instead of 3d it was awesome .. well i picked up a cake that looked that it had been decorated by a 5 year old and worse when we ate it it had a chemically taste to it .. the supposed buttercream was closer to a whip than a buttercream and that is without the overwhleming bug pray overtones .. when i called her monday morning she ripped me a new one even tho i wasnt even mad more like disappointed .. i complmented her cookies her kids her hair i was trying to be as nice as can be and she took a swipe at me saying she guesses she just downt understand all of that gore because her and her daughter are princesses .. well guess what my daughter is no less a princess she is just a teenage angsty one and anyone who has rasied a teenager recently has been there .. i came to find out a week later the same weekend i had my bug spray cake another mother in town also had a bug spray cake and the bakery accused her of dipping her cake in dish water !! stay away from this place .. as good as the cookies are and reguardless of the potential of her to be amazing with guidance ,if she would take it ,it just isnt worth it go to suzie q in warwood ..
